The company is well-known for its strict "no-edits" policy in licensing their films abroad. This has stemmed from the disastrous dubbing of Miyazaki's Nausicaä of the Valley of Wind when the film was released in the United States as Warriors of the Wind. The film was heavily edited and Americanized, with significant portions cut and the plot rewritten. The "no cuts" policy was highlighted when Miramax co-chairman Harvey Weinstein suggested editing Princess Mononoke to make it more marketable. In response, one of Studio Ghibli producers sent an authentic katana with a simple message: "No cuts".

came yesterday, only one day late, but it's better than it saias it has 2 ide slots and 4 sata 2 slots but it don't have enough power connectors so i still don't have all of my hard drives up and running but with any luck i should be able to get a few splitters in town or if not online as theyre only £2 each (well less) or i might see about getting an external caddy that can cope with raid as two of the drives are striped that might solve some problems down the line and then maybe i can get a few sata deices.

i know a db movies been in the pipelines for a while but i had no idea it had gotten so far i have a terrible feeling it will be one of the worst films of all time and i would still love it!

is what i now am though not completely as im not really getting paid but at least the last week wasn't totally mind-numbingly boring even if i did spend 2 and a half days at the only photocopier in the building, and did i mention it is also the only fax scanner and printer in the office! so you can imagine how popular my smiling face became(typical comment upon seeing me at the printer:"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!"and i ain't joking!)and now im again on reception and even though the phones work this week they still don't ring very often!

huzzah tis my first day in the world of work, im working as a receptionist i answer the phones......and thats about it. First problem of the day, the phones don't work. hence my livejournal post!

Well i'm done with my time at HCT and so i will lose net access for a while so i may not post here again for a while.
